With more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, A. Scott White is a Certified Financial Planner™, a Chartered Financial Consultant, and a Chartered Life Underwriter.
Mr. White is past president of the Southwest Florida Chapters of the Financial Planning Association, the American Society of Financial Service Professionals and the Lee County Estate Planning Council. He is the founding president of the Planned Giving Council of Lee County and served on the National Committee on Planned Giving’s Leave a Legacy committee. Mr. White is a frequent speaker for nonprofit and professional groups and his articles have appeared in various magazines and newspapers.
In addition to serving as a Senior Advisor for the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, he serves on its Audit and Finance committees. Mr. White is a board member of the United Way and a member of its planned giving committee. He is also a member of the planned giving committee for Lee Memorial Health System Foundation. And as a past Treasurer and member of the Rotary Club of Fort Myers, he serves on the club’s Trust Fund committee.
Mr. White attained membership in the prestigious honor societies of Phi Alpha Theta and Beta Gamma Sigma while earning his B.A. and M.B.A. at the University of Arkansas. Prior to forming his own Registered Investment Advisory firm, he was employed by Banc One Securities Corporation (First Chicago NBD Investment Services, Inc /NBD Trust Department), Merrill Lynch and Prudential Insurance Company of America.
Mr. White and his wife, Adriana, reside in Fort Myers with their two children.
